At K France, we are committed to providing our patients with a highly professional standard of eye care by investing in the best optical technology and providing a wide range of visual correction options to suit all our patients' needs.

Since Ken France started the practice in 1966, the ethos of the practice has always been about providing excellent patient care, something we strive to do from when you first arrive, through the examination and dispense, to when you walk out the door.

We are Carlisle's longest established independent opticians. Initially started by Ken France in 1966 on The Crescent.

 

He moved to the present location in the 1970s and worked with Mike France until he retired in 1988. Martin Golden became the main optometrist from then until he was joined by Tim Harper in 1996.

 

When Mike France retired in 2005 and Martin Golden retired in 2019,  Tim Harper carried on the good work.
